General News: Summer Playground Details

A Message from Will Hall, Program Director
This year’s Summer Playground program will be held at the Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School, located at 234 Hudson St. in C-o-H. We will not be at the St. Thomas School. The Village Summer Playground is open to all students who are entering grades 1 through 6 in the fall of 2008. The six-week program will run from July 7th to August 15th. Hours are from 9 am to 1 pm, Monday through Friday. We will be making day trips to the Cornwall Town Pool on Mondays and Wednesdays starting July 14.
Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson residents will pay a fee of $75 per child with a family maximum of $200. Non-village residents will be paying a fee of $150 per child. Please bring a copy of your child’s immunization records as well as a proof of address so we can determine correct payment.
All completed registrations, immunization records and payments must be submitted the first day of the Summer Program, July 7, 2008. Money collected will go directly towards buying supplies and paying our hard-working staff.
The 2007 Summer Playground program was a great success and we thank all who participated. Registration forms for the 2008 Village Summer Playground Program will be made available on June 18th, 19th,, and 20th from 4 to 7 p.m. in the conference room of Village Hall located at 325 Hudson Street in Cornwall-on-Hudson. All registration forms, immunization records and payments will be collected the first day of the camp, Monday July 7th, from 8 to 10 am at the Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School. It is recommended you have all of your information ready on July 7th, as we will only be accepting the first 250 campers. Cash is accepted and checks should be made out to The Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson with Summer Playground in the memo portion. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you this summer!
