General News: Dragons Win in Baseball Playoffs

The Cornwall varsity baseball team will advance to the Class A quarterfinals after defeating the team from Somers Monday with a score of 7-6.
Pitcher Greg Kumpel wrapped up the victory when he struck out the final batter for Somers with the bases loaded and two outs.
The team will play in the quarterfinals at 4 p.m. on Tuesday in New Paltz.
