General News: Crafters Wanted for 4th of July
May 22, 2008
The Cornwall Independence Day Committee invites craftspeople to participate in its 16th annual crafts fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, July 4, on the Cornwall Town Hall grounds.
The Cornwall Independence Day Crafts Fair is for handcrafted items – not commercially produced merchandise. Some 50 craftspeople participate.
The Cornwall Independence Day Celebration draws more than 10, 000 people for a full day of activities including children’s activities, music and a parade as well as the crafts fair.
Spaces (10x10) are available on a first-come, first-served basis for $50 per space ($60 after June 15).
Craftspeople are welcome to stay to beyond 4 p.m. but won’t be able to leave until after the fireworks display ends, about 10:30 p.m. Those who stay must provide their own lights.
Further information and application forms will soon be available at www.cornwall4th.org.
Contact crafts fair committee member Kathy Sacer at 845-534-4565 for questions and applications.
