Monday, April 7
6:48 a.m. Police arrest Luis Pena, 22, of Newburgh, for driving with a license that had been suspended for failing to make a court appearance in Monroe and ticket him for not dimming his lights while driving on Route 9W.
7:11 a.m. Police respond to the area of Seidman Way, in New Windsor, for a report of two loose cows in a homeowner’s backyard. Police locate the owner of the animals in question who herds the cows and secures them.
8:44 a.m. police issue ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 54-year-old male from Central Valley.
12:31 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute in the Cornwall Plaza parking lot.
4:16 p.m. Police respond to a report of a loose dog on Harris Lane and speak with its owner who said the battery on the dog’s electric collar was low and allow it to escape. Owner is advised to keep his dog under control.
6:02 p.m. Police advise a group of skateboarders at Willow Avenue Elementary school to move along.
6:17 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 94 to a 29-year-old female from Newburgh.
6:52 p.m. Police investigate a report of two vehicles that had been keyed while parked on Tamara Lane.
7:24 p.m. Police assist COVAC with a man who was intoxicated and suicidal.
Tuesday, April 8
9:00 p.m. Police investigate a report of a mailbox on Route 94 that appeared to have been hit with a bat.
10:15 a.m. Police on Quaker Avenue issue a summons to a 41-year-old female driver from Cornwall for not have adequate stop lamps.
10:51 a.m. Police issue three tickets to a 26-year-old male driver on Route 32: One for driving without a license, one for speeding and one for having an obstructed view.
11:54 a.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding on Route 32 to a 56-year-old female from Cornwall.
12:23 p.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding on Route 32 to a 52-year-old female from Tucson.
12:43 p.m. Police issue a ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign on Orrs Mills Road and Route 32 to a 39-year-old female from New Windsor.
12:44 p.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding on Quaker Avenue to a 33-year-old female from Monroe.
12:56 p.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding on Quaker Avenue to a 41-year-old female from Cornwall.
1:01 p.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding on Quaker Avenue to a 46-year-old female from Monroe.
1:16 p.m. Police issue a ticket for an inadequate muffler to a car on Route 32 that is driven by a 35-year-old female from Walden.
2:24 p.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding on Route 32 to a 27-year-old female from Hawley.
3:18 p.m. Police issue a ticket for failing to stop at a stop sign on Quaker Avenue and Route 9W to a 31-year-old female from Grand Rapids.
3:42 p.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding on Route 32 to a 17-year-old male from New Windsor.
10:14 p.m. Police issue a ticket for speeding on Route 94 to a 21-year-old female from New Windsor.
