Monday, March 31
9:39 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Quaker Avenue to a 21-year-old female from New Windsor
3:13 p.m. Police respond to an accident with property damage on Route 9W and Laurel Avenue involving a school bus and a car.
9:03 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 52-year-old male from Newburgh.
10:41 p.m. Police charge 21-year-old David Briggs, of Newburgh, with driving with a suspended learner’s permit after he was pulled over on Route 9W.
11:04 p.m. Police respond to a domestic incident.
Tuesday, April 1
7:48 a.m. Police investigate criminal mischief in which the signs located beneath stop signs at Clinton and Hazen Streets were bent over.

5:30 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 53 mph in a 30 mph zone on Mill Street to a 16-year-old female from Highland Falls.
5:37 p.m. Police issue aticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 38-year-old female from Nyack.
6:10 p.m. Police charge 23-year-old Christopher Timmons, of Cornwall, with driving with a suspended license. He is also issued three tickets for vehicle and traffic violations, including speeding on Angola Road.
Wednesday, April 2
6:09 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 83 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W to a 25-year-old male from Washingtonville.
8:00 a.m. Police investigate reports of mailboxes damaged overnight on Derussy Lane, Farm Hollow Road, Tressle View, Fair View Lane, Orrs Mills Road and Jackson Avenue.
8:12 a.m. Police investigate the larceny of a go-kart from outside Cornwall Central High School.
3:02 p.m. Police take a report of fraudulent charges made to a credit card.
3:20 p.m. Police respond to a report of a subject harassing another subject in the vestibule of the public library. Parties advised.
4:03 p.m. Police at Cornwall Plaza find subjects smoking “nuchi leaf”, or sinicuichi, which may contain salvia divornum. This is an herbal product that is very dangerous and is becoming increasingly popular. Subjects sent on their way.
7:31 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Taylor Road to an 18-year-old male from New Windsor.
9:31 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 94 to a 23-year-old male from Newburgh.
9:51 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 94 to a 22-year-old from Warwick.
Thursday, April 3
10:10 a.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 19-year-old male from Newburgh.
1:42 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of unwanted contact from a prior friend and advise the parties.
3:34 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 16-year-old male from Rock Tavern.
Friday, April 4
7:08 a.m. Police respond to a report of an injured skunk at a residence on Angola Road and see the skunk, which doesn’t appear to be injured. Advise property owner to call again if skunk does not leave the property.
12:29 p.m. Police take a report of a missing bank card and a black felt purse.
4:56 p.m. Police investigate a report of a damaged storm door.
8:25 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 58 mph in a 45 mph zone on Otterkill Road to a 26-year-old female from Salisbury Mills.
9:23 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 24-year-old male from New Windsor.
Saturday, April 5
3:12 a.m. Police respond to Route 94 for a report of a hit-and-run accident in which a vehicle was hit by a tailgating vehicle that then took off.
12:14 p.m. Police observe a car off the roadway on Hasbrouck Avenue and find the driver had come off from Chadeayne Circle and veered right hard and hit a tree, causing airbag deployment and extensive damage to the vehicle. Driver is disoriented and is taken to the hospital for observation.
5:21 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 24-year-old male from New Windsor.
5:49 p.m. Police respond to an accident at Carol Place and Route 94 that occurred when a driver attempted a left hand turn and struck a vehicle approaching from the other direction.
8:12 p.m. Police charge 32-year-old Tracy Myers, of Stony Point, with driving with a license that had been suspended five times.
8:15 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 107 to a 17-year-old male from Salisbury Mills.
8:56 p.m. Police respond to a report of a suspicious phone call and advise the subject.
9:30 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 57 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 94 to a 41-year-old female from Cornwall.
10:00 p.m. Police find four underage subjects possessing alcohol and are referred to justice court for examination of the violation.
10:56 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 60 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 94 to a 33-year-old male from Highland Mills.
Sunday, April 6
12:28 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 19-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
1:56 p.m. Police respond to a complaint of criminal mischief in which a property owner said he observed a rock larger than gravel in the driveway in front of his truck. He stated that it must have been intended for this truck and it came from outside of the gated area. There were tire tracks in the circle in front of the gated area.
4:20 p.m. Police respond to an accident on Jackson Avenue.
5:41 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 52 mph in a 30 mph zone on Main Street to am 18-year-old male from Cornwall.
9:30 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 56 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 32 to a 22-year-old male from Harriman.
