General News: Fires Displaces Eight Familes in New Windsor

New Windsor police are investigating a fire at the Squire Village Apartments on Route 94 that started shortly after 4 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2. The blaze badly damaged an eight-unit building in the complex and displaced eight families.
New Windsor, Vails Gate, and Cornwall-on-Hudson Fire Departments responded to the fire.
The New Windsor fire inspector’s office as well as the New Windsor Police detective division are currently investigating the cause of the blaze.
