General News: Library Budget Approved

Voters approved the Cornwall Public Library budget on Tuesday by a margin of 347 to 89. A total of 436 people voted.
The $885,458 budget was approved and $830,458 of that will be raised from taxes on the residents of the Cornwall Central School District.
Voters also elected Maureen Terwilliger to the Board of Trustees.
In 2007, more than 500 people voted and approved the library budget by a margin of 424 to 100.
