Monday, March 3
10:06 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W and Willow Avenue and transport two people to the hospital for observation after they complained of back pain.

11:47 a.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32 that occurred when one vehicle stopped for a school bus.

12:21 p.m.  Police locate a man in a hospital gown who had just been released from Cornwall hospital.

2:00 p.m.  Police investigate the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

9:06 p.m.  Police execute a bench warrant from the City of Newburgh against John Burger, 48, of Cornwall.


Tuesday, March 4
12:26 p.m.  Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Mineral Springs Rd.

1:20 p.m. Police charge 23-year-old Cesar Tapia-Campos, of Newburgh, with driving with a suspended license, speeding and not having a license after he was stopped on Angola Road.


2:43 p.m.  Police investigate a report of a possible sexual abuse case.

3:15 p.m.  Police arrest a 15-year-old male following the larceny of two wedding bands from a residence.

5:07 p.m.  Police respond to a minor motor vehicle accident on Quaker Avenue.


Wednesday, March 5
6:41 a.m.  Police respond to a report of skeleton remains that turn out to be a deer carcass that had been discarded in a black plastic bag.

9:13 a.m.  Police issue a ticket for an expired inspection sticker on a vehicle parked at the train station.

11:38 a.m.  Police investigate solicitors outside of Dunkin Donuts and find they do not have permission to be there.

9:20 p.m. Police execute a bench warrant from the City of Newburgh on John Burger, 48, of Cornwall.


Wednesday, March 5
6:03 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute between a mother and her son.

8:40 p.m. Police respond to a harassment complaint by a woman involving an ex-boyfriend.


Thursday, March 6
6:58 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 94.

11:59 a.m. Police respond to a complaint that a contractor had closed a road and tell him to keep it open.

4:00 p.m. Police respond to a report by a subject of being harassed while walking down Main Street.

9:00 p.m. Police respond to a report of a missing juvenile and locate her on Route 9W and return her to residence.

10:07 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32 to a 21-year-old male from Monroe.



Friday, March 7
8:00 a.m. Police investigate a report of a stolen cellphone at Cornwall Central Middle School.

9:07 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 32.

1:45 p.m. Police issue a traffic ticket on Route 32 to a 35-year-old female from Garnersville for driving 70 mph in a 55 mph zone.

2:14 p.m. Police respond to a hit-and-run accident on Main Street.

8:11 p.m. Police assist village police with a disturbance call.

10:33 p.m. Police respond to a noise complaint and tell subjects to quiet down.


Saturday, March 8
5:11 a.m. Police respond to a single vehicle accident at Taylor and Otterkill Roads in which the driver lost control while making a turn and hit a rock wall.

9:47 a.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 65 mph in a 55 mph zone on Route 9W to a 53-year-old male from New Windsor.

3:02 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute over a son bringing his girlfriend home.

4:30 p.m. Police respond to Route 94 for a motor vehicle accident in which the driver was attempting to make a turn and got stuck in the mud.

7:27 p.m. Police respond to the area of Orrs Mills Road and Jackson Avenue for a report of trees and wires down.


Sunday, March 9
8:35 a.m. Police respond to a report of a tree that had fallen during the night on a vehicle, damaging it.

6:02 p.m. Police issue tickets to a 29-year-old driver who had borrowed plates to drive an unregistered vehicle.
