To The Editor:
For the last 18 months I have had the privilege of serving as a Trustee for Cornwall Public Library, having been appointed to fulfill the balance of an open term. As a result of what I have learned and my experience with our wonderful Library in this last year and a half, combined with what I already knew as a long-time library patron, I have decided to “throw my hat in the ring” as a candidate for a full 5-year term as Library Trustee.
Residents of the Cornwall Central School District with library cards already know how valuable our Library is to our community and patrons of all ages. For those who do not have a card, I strongly encourage you to get one and to take full advantage of the opportunities it provides. Books, CDs, DVDs, computers, the Internet, newspapers and magazines; book discussions and reading groups, movie and opera showings; programs, speakers and special activities – the Library has a full calendar each and every month.
I look forward to continuing my service as a Cornwall Library Trustee, and to working diligently as a representative of the Cornwall community-at-large to help keep our library useful, vibrant, and ‘with the times’ – as it currently is.
Sincerely,
Maureen Terwilliger
Cornwall-on-Hudson

Looking forward to having Mo on the Board. Maybe a few more books will be saved from the dreaded "DISCARD" pile!
