Monday February 18
1:27 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a 16-year-old male from Highlands Mills on Route 32.
5:25 a.m. Police issue a ticket to a 70-year-old male who delivers newspapers for the Times Herald Record who is told to make repairs on the “nuisance” condition.
7:00 a.m. Police issue a traffic ticket to a 55-year-old male on Route 9W.
6:59 p.m. Police advise a resident to turn his music down.
8:39 p.m. Police respond to a report of a missing teen who later returns home.
11:33 p.m. Police respond to a reported domestic dispute along with Woodbury and New York State police. No charges filed.
Tuesday, February 19
3:29 a.m. Police charge 31-year-old Joshua Gross, of New Windsor, with driving with a suspended license.
8:20 a.m. Police investigate an attempted burglary at J&K Deli on Route 32. Subjects tried to gain entry through a window but failed.
9:51 a.m. Police respond to an accident that occurred when a driver lost control of her car on Shore Road near the sewer plant and blew out two tires.
1:45 p.m. Police respond to a reported of a step outside a business on Main Street that was damaged during the weekend. The complainant states that she has had problems in the past with skate boarders.
10:00 p.m. Police investigate a report of items taken from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight on Hampton Place. An overnight bag and its contents were reported missing.
Wednesday, February 20
4:39 a.m. Police issue two tickets for vehicle and traffic violations to a 26-year-old male from Salisbury Mills.
6:45 a.m. Police assist an elderly female who fell and could not get up. COVAC treated her at the scene.
9:42 a.m. Police ticket a 21-year-old female from Newburgh for a traffic violation on Route 32.
9:51 a.m. Police ticket a 33-year-old male from Brooklyn for a traffic violation on Route 32.
11:24 a.m. Police ticket a 37-year-old female from New York, for a traffic violation on Route 32.
2:33 p.m. Police ticket a 19-year-old male from New Windsor for a traffic violation on Route 32.
5:52 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 32. Police dispatch the injured deer.
7:05 p.m. Police investigate a report of inappropriate conversation by a patron of Key Foods.
7:12 p.m. Police arrest Ryan Moody, 34, of Poughkeepsie on a bench warrant.

2:51 a.m. Police ticket a 26-year-old female from Cornwall for a traffic violation on Route 32.
6:45 a.m. Police ticket a 54-year-old male from New Windsor for a traffic violation on Route 9W.
11:52 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Ardmore Street that occurred when one vehicle backed into another.
2:35 p.m. Police respond to a domestic call involving parents and their child.
6:26 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident at Quake Avenue and Cornwall Plaza in which a driver struck the rear of a pedestrian’s leg.
6:44 p.m. Police respond to a domestic call.
Friday, February 22
10:31 a.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute involving a mother and her son.
12:45 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Stony Acres Trail in which the vehicle slid off the roadway into a tree. No injuries reported.
1:01 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 32 near Black Rock where a driver said another vehicle cut him off and caused him to leave the road and turn over. A passing motorist said the vehicle in question was a truck that was weaving in and out of traffic recklessly.
1:34 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which one vehicle couldn’t stop at an intersection and slid into a truck.
5:09 p.m. Police respond to a report of a vehicle that had slid off a private road but were unable to access it because of a steep grade.
8:17 p.m. Police ticket an 18-year-old male driver for failure to keep right after the officer observed him intentionally fishtailing his car on Quaker Avenue.
9:13 p.m. Police respond to a two-car motor vehicle accident on Mineral Springs Road that caused heavy damage but no injuries.
11:23 p.m. Police issue a ticket for driving 52 mph in a 30 mph zone on Route 32 to a 19-year-old male from New Windsor.
2:24 p.m. Police investigate a report of two runaways from a group home who are located in Poughkeepsie and returned, then leave again one hour later.
4:45 p.m. Police respond to a disturbance between two male subjects who declined to press formal charges against one another.
5:19 p.m. Police respond to a hit-and-run accident on Main Street and issue a ticket for leaving the scene of an accident to an 18-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
5:38 p.m. Police charge a 17-year-old male from New Windsor with criminal trespass in a January 20, 2008 incident.
Sunday, February 24
10:02 a.m. Police ticket a 44-year-old male from Suffern for having no stop lamp on his vehicle.
12:05 p.m. Police ticket a 20-year-old male from Newburgh for a vehicle and traffic violation.
4:24 p.m. Police assist a child who ran into a tree while on a sled. COVAC dispatched.
5:18 p.m. Police respond to a report of juveniles throwing snowballs on Highland Avenue and advise them.
5:30 p.m. Police issue two tickets to a 34-year-old male from Washingtonville for vehicle and traffic violations on Route 9W.
5:44 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 37-year-old male from Beacon.
5:59 p.m. Police issue a ticket for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 36-year-old male from Jacksonville.
8:57 p.m. Police respond to a domestic call involving a mother and her two children.
