Bryan's Bikes and Cornwall Country Homes on Main Street. |
February 22, 2008
Bryan’s Bikes and Cornwall Country Homes store are having a grand re-opening this Saturday and invite the public to stop in and see what is new at their adjoining stores on Main Street in Cornwall.
Cornwall Country Homes, formerly Cornwall Country Crafts, has changed its focus from small household items to home furnishings. You’ll find pine hutches, sofas, and distressed-style tables at the store and lots of manufacturers’ catalogues for ordering furniture not in the store.
Susan Tagliaferro has managed the store through a succession of recent owners and she is excited about the new merchandise they are offering, which include quilts and art with a primitive or rustic feel.
Tagliaferro also helped Frank Lovell, owner of Bryan’s Bikes, to re-decorate his store. “She was the captain of the project,” Lovell, said. “She chose all the colors for me.” Lovell’s store also has a new counter, a bar stool area, and a flat screen TV where customers can watch bike-related videos.
Both businesses are hosting Saturday’s re-opening from 1 to 5 p.m. and Tagliaferro says that refreshments will be served.
