An Open Letter to the Cornwall Community,
If there is anyone else that is served by the Cornwall-on-Hudson water department who has seen an outrageous escalation of their water bills without cause over the last six months, please contact me.
Thank you.

Comments:
An open letter to Mrs Smith. I know some people like to comment on what agravates them in Cornwall without taking into consideration all of the fact's. so i will take it easy on Mrs Smith for now. This has been a hot topic for years and one that town residents seem to bring up every time they see a raise. Well I hope alot of town residents see this comment and consider it in their future knee-jerk disgust. #1 Village residents pay into town property taxes as well as village property taxes although we have our own services (police, DPW, fire, sanitation, grounds maintance) although town citizens only pay into town property taxes. #2 The Village was just given notice by the town that Town Sewer rate privlages for the village only, have been increased and i'm sure the buck will be passed down to the tax payer. thats strike 2 for village tax payers. so when the village throws town tax payers a curve ball once in a blue moon for a service that it provides albeit a reputable one unlike the rediculus town property tax quagmire. there really is no justifiable complaint from town residents.
