Friday, January 25
3:04 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident in which one vehicle rear-ended another at the traffic light at Laurel Avenue and Route 9W.
4:50 p.m. Police respond to a report of a belligerant female at Cornwall Plaza and ask an apparently intoxicated woman to leave the area.
5:22 p.m. Police issue a summons for an expired inspection sticker to a vehicle parked at the train station.
7:29 p.m. Police investigate a complaint by a resident of Sheldon Drive that kids have been throwing water bottles at his residence for the past three weeks and always on Friday evenings. The complainant said this is preceded by several instances of his door bell being rung and the subjects running away. No damage was done to the residence and a search of the area did not turn up any individuals.
8:23 p.m. Police take a report from a woman who had fraudulent charges on her bank card.
8:28 p.m. Police issue a summons for a driving 56 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 94 to a 20-year-old male from Campbell Hall.
11:27 p.m. Police respond to the area of Erin Court for a report of a vehicle that had been vandalized while its owner was at a party. When the owner came out, he found the rear window had been completely destroyed. No property was taken.
Saturday, January 26
1:52 A.M. Police stop a vehicle on Angola Road for following another vehicle too closely and issue a summons for driving without a license to a 25-year-old male from Newburgh.
10:54 a.m. Police assist COVAC with an uncooperative patient.
2:10 p.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Taylor Road in which a driver lost control of her ca, which spun on a patch of ice and hit a guardrail. The driver, Bianca Minuta, 19, of Mountainville, was charged with driving with a suspended license.
3:22 p.m. Police investigate a report of the sunroof of a car that was smashed while left at the owner’s place of employment, Tarkett.
4:45 p.m. Police issue a summons for driving 68 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W to a 35-year-old male from Nyack.
5:21 p.m. Police issue a summons for faulty headlights to a 32-year-old male from Washingtonville on Route 94.
6:03 p.m. Police issue a summons for speeding on Route 94 to a 38-year-old male from Milford.
8:07 p.m. Police issue a summons for speeding on Route 94 to a 42-year-old female from Rock Tavern.
8:15 p.m. Police issue a summons for speeding on Route 94 to a 36-year-old male from Washingtonville.
11:10 p.m. Police respond to a report of a loud party and ask residents to keep the noise down.
Sunday, January 27
2:22 a.m. Police issue a summons for speeding on Route 94 to an 18-year-old male from Campbell Hall.
11:21 a.m. Police respond to a report of a hit dog and find the animal DOA.
1:08 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation to a 17-year-old male from New Windsor.
3:38 p.m. Police respond to a dispute on custodial issues.
6:39 p.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 9W southbound.
