Sunday, January 13
8:07 p.m. Police respond to Donahue Memorial Park for a report of a man driving a light blue pickup who yelled at a woman. The woman said that the male driver was driving slowly on Shore Road near the DPW. She was behind the truck, which stopped at the stop sign at River Road, then the driver got out of the vehicle and ran toward her, yelling and screaming and tried to hit her vehicle. Police do not locate the vehicle in question.
Monday, January 14
9:20 p.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute involving a father and his children.
Tuesday, January 15
3:57 p.m. Police respond to Cornwall-on-Hudson elementary school for a report of two missing children, 8- and 10-year-old boys. DPW and fire department assist in the search for the two who eventually arrive at their home and determine that a miscommunication had led to them being considered missing.
Wednesday, January 16
6:45 p.m. Police investigate a report of a missing lawn ornament from a yard on Avenue A. The item, which disappeared last month, is a three-foot high white gnome, a little man with a pointed hat, which was last seen smoking a pipe. The gnome had been standing in the front yard between two mushroom statues. Its estimated value is two hundred dollars.
