Sunday, January 6
3:25 a.m. Police respond to a report of a loud party on Clark Avenue and advise the residents.
11:20 a.m. Police respond to a reported hit-and-run accident on Hudson Street that had occurred during the night to a parked car that was hit by a driver who left a note.
Monday, January 7
2:28 a.m. Police see a car traveling with no lights on along Avenue A and interview the 18-year-old male driver who said he had borrowed the car from a friend. Further investigation reveals that the teen was given permission to sleep in the car but not to drive it. His father is notified and the teen is given a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation.
7:30 p.m. Police issue a summons to a vehicle parked with its left side to the curb on Avenue A.

Tuesday, January 8
1:27 a.m. Police return a stray dog to its owner’s residence.
9:00 p.m. Police issue a summons parked in a no parking zone on Holts Lane.
Wednesday, January 9
4:07 p.m. Police investigate a report from a woman who said an obscene, threatening note was left under her door last night.
5:58 p.m. Police charge an 18-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson with unlawful possession of marijuana that was observed by police when the subject was stopped for failure to stay right while driving on Hudson Street.
8:00 p.m. Police respond to Cornwall hospital for a child bitten in the leg by the family dog.
