Sunday, December 16

.6:44 a.m. Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Route 9W just north of Mountain Road in which the driver lost control of her vehicle, spun around and struck a guardrail.

 

Monday, December 17

1:14 p.m. Police respond to a report of a knife found on top of a vehicle. The knife was apparently left by a member of the Highland Falls fire department who sold a Christmas tree to the vehicle owner.

 

8:00 p.m. Police arrest 50-year-old William Seiz and charge with him second-degree criminal trespassing and harassment.

 

 

Tuesday, December 18
10:37 a.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Shore Road in which the driver of a van lost control on black ice, went off the road and hit a tree.

3:55 p.m.  Police assist town police responding to a report of a distraught female at the Cornwall middle school. Female is a teacher whose frustrated remarks about a repair garage were apparently taken out of context.

5:28 p.m.  Police respond to a motor vehicle accident on Mountain Road.

8:57 p.m.  Police arrest Ayub Javaid, 45, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, a clerk at the DB Mart, after he is observed selling beer to a 20-year-old male without asking for his ID.

9:31 p.m.  Police arrest Dina Rossini, 36, of Newburgh, a bartender at Painter’s, after she is observed selling a beer to a 20-year-old male without asking for his ID.

9:54 p.m.  Police arrest Kelly Kuhn, 26, of Cornwall, a bartender at Tom’s Tavern, after she is observed selling beer to a 20-year-old male without asking for his ID.

Wednesday, December 19
6:20 p.m.  Police return a trumpet that was found on the side of the road on Boulevard to its owner.
