Dear Editor,
Regardless of our feelings toward President Bush and the war in Iraq, I believe we all do support our troops. I believe we all are especially proud to have General Petraeus, one of our own, making a huge difference there at this point in time.
What I would like to see is more support for our troops from our local schools. We who live in the safety and comfort of our beautiful area could do something to let these wonderful people know how proud we are of them and how much we admire and appreciate them.
With Christmas almost here, we should wish them all, especially General Petraeus, a very merry Christmas and a speedy and
safe return home.
