Police Blotter: November 18-21, 2007

Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department

Sunday, November 18
11:23 a.m.  Police respond to a domestic dispute involving a mother and son that began with a dispute about taking out the recyclables.

12:39 p.m.  Police are given a woman’s wallet that was found on Duncan Avenue that contained two dollars, a credit card, a driver’s license, photo and a small empty clear plastic baggie that smelled like it contained marijuana at one time.  When the owner comes to retrieve the wallet the owner is asked about the baggie and she states that it’s not hers.

9:35 p.m.  Police respond to a report of an unconscious male whose wife says he took painkillers and alcohol earlier and became combative and disoriented.  He is transported to Westchester Medical Center via helicopter.


Monday, November 19
12:30 a.m.  Police find a car on Hudson Street with the doors open and lights on and contact the registered owner who finds nothing missing and secures the car.

8:51 a.m.  Police issue a parking summons to a vehicle parked on Maple Avenue extension.

2:34 p.m.  Police respond to a report of a harassing phone calls made to a woman by her soon-to-be ex-husband.

6:13 p.m.  Police respond to the same location regarding more harassing phone calls.


Tuesday, November 20
8:54 a.m.  Police stop a vehicle for failure to use a turn signal at Payson Road and Boulevard and then find the driver, a 44-year-old female from Cornwall-on-Hudson, has a suspended license.  She is charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to use a turn signal.


Wednesday, November 21
6:04 p.m.  Police assist an elderly female who is located by her family members.

6:45 p.m.  Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Hudson Street to a 17-year-old male from Cornwall.

8:30 p.m.  Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Hudson Street to an 18-year-old male from Goshen.
