Thursday, November 15
9:40 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Duncan Avenue to an 18-year-old male from Monroe.
10:05 p.m. Police assist town of Cornwall police at Cornwall hospital.
Friday, November 16
2:21 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Shore Road to a 31-year-old male from Cornwall.
4:56 p.m. Police respond to a complaint that a skateboarder came off the sidewalk on Idlewild Avenue and hit a passing vehicle. The officer speaks with skateboarders and advise them to move along. No damage to the vehicle is visible.
9:58 p.m. Police issue a summons for driving 43 mph in a 30 mph zone on Hudson Street to a 28-yar-old male from Newburgh.
Saturday, November 17
8:19 a.m. Police charge 24-year-old John Moore, of Newburgh, with driving with a suspended license and driving while impaired after he was observed driving a landscaping truck in the parking lot of St. Thomas Church at an unsafe speed,
4:35 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 36-year-old male from Newburgh.

Can anyone tell me why there are no tickets issued for talking on a cell phone while driving?
