Monday, October 1
11:24 a.m. Police assist a person who had been kicked out of his home to find a shelter bed.
5:52 p.m. Police locate a child’s mountain bicycle in the woods off Route 32 and put it in storage.
6:19 p.m. Police respond to a harassment complaint between neighbors.
8:09 p.m. Police assist a subject who appeared intoxicated on Route 9W and who said he was homeless and experiencing hallucinations along with psychological distress. Police take him to the hospital for evaluation.
8:11 p.m. Police issue a summons for speeding on Route 94 to a 52-year-old male from New Windsor.
9:08 p.m. Police respond to the Cadet Motel for a female patron reportedly suffering an anxiety attack and transport her to the hospital.
Tuesday, October 2
2:14 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 32 to a 30-year-old female from Nyack.
3:02 a.m. Police arrest Sidney Milton, 45, of Newburgh, for possession of crack cocaine after stopping his vehicle on Route 9W at an estimated speed of 61 mph in a 45 mph zone. The driver, Milton, had a revoked license that had been suspended 33 times and revoked 29 times. Inside the vehicle, the officer spotted eight plastic baggies filled with what later turned out to be crack cocaine.
10:20 a.m. Police respond to a report of a wounded deer on Angola Road and find it had died.
11:37 a.m. Police respond to a report of a wounded deer on Angola Road and dispatch the animal.
3:30 p.m. Police take a report from a woman that unauthorized withdrawals from her Key Bank account had been made online using her debit card. The withdrawals totaled $2-300. The bank had launched its own investigation of the theft.
5:33 p.m. Police issue a summons to a vehicle parked at the train station with an expired inspection sticker.
6:20 pm. Police respond to a medical call in which a man said his friend pushed him and he broke his ankle. The friend admitted pushing the man after he had lunged at him demanding money. Neither party wanted to press charges and the man with the broken ankle is transported to the hospital.
9:35 p.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 33-year-old female from Newburgh.
10:41 p.m. Police charge 30-year-old Justino Estela, of Newburgh, with driving without a license and for driving without headlights on.
Wednesday, October 3
12:19 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident and find the deer dead and the vehicle occupants uninjured.
12:36 a.m. Police issue a summons for speeding on Route 32 to a 41-year-old male from Newburgh.
1:17 a.m. Police issue a summons for driving 67 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W to a 47-year-old male from Newburgh.
6:26 a.m. Police issue a summons for driving 67 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W to a 34-year-old male from Hemlock Falls.
6:36 a.m. Police issue a summons for driving 65 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W to a 37-year-old female from Newburgh.
7:59 a.m. Police issue a summons for an expired inspection sticker to a vehicle on Route 9W.
8:30 a.m. Police respond to a deer vs. motor vehicle accident on Route 9W.
9:36 a.m. Police respond to a report of a dead deer caught in the fence of the Episcopal Church and assist Rev. Margrave in the removal of the dead animal.
11:38 a.m. Police investigate a report of a missing diamond ring.
3:15 p.m. Police respond to an motor vehicle accident on Route 32 in which the driver of a dump truck said his brakes locked up when the car in front of him stopped to make a turn onto Pleasant Hill Road. The truck driver said his vehicle skidded across the road and came to rest in the parking lot of the Black Rock Fish and Game club. No injuries were reported.
4:54 p.m. Police issue three summonses for expired inspection stickers to three vehicles on Route 32.
6:40 p.m. Police investigate a report of a gold serpentine necklace with a gold crucifix stolen from a locker at the high school.
8:01 p.m. Police issue a summons for a broken tail light to a 61-year-old male from Denver on Route 9W.
9:34 p.m. Police respond to a report of an injured deer on Route 94 and dispatch the animal.
11:44 p.m. Police issue a summons for an expired inspection sticker to a vehicle on Route 32.
11:49 p.m. Police issue a summons to a passenger who was not wearing a seatbelt in a vehicle on Route 32.
Thursday, October 4
3:31 a.m. Police issue two summonses to a 20-year-old male driver from Mountainville: one for speeding and one for an expired inspection sticker.
6:30 a.m. Police issue a summons for driving 66 mph in a 45 mph zone on Route 9W to a 68-year-old male from New City.
7:30 a.m. Police respond to a domestic dispute called in by a neighbor who overheard what turned out to be yelling because a woman had locked herself in the bathroom and her husband was trying to assist her and they were yelling through the door.
10:44 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 35-year-old female from Highland Mills.
10:51 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 44-year-old male from Plattekill.
11:06 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 41-year-old male from Highland Falls.
11:54 a.m. Police investigate a report of a shoplifter at CVS.

12:54 a.m. Police issue a summons for a broken taillight on Route 32 to an 18-year-old male from Teaneck, NJ.
2:05 a.m. Police issue a summons for driving 54 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 32 to a 19-year-old male from Highland Mills.
9:57 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Route 9W to a 23-year-old male from Pearl River.
10:15 p.m. Police respond to a report of juveniles at Willow Avenue school and advise them to leave the property.
10:55 p.m. Police issue a summons for speeding on Main Street to a 17-year-old male from Cornwall-on-Hudson.
Saturday, October 6
10:26 a.m. Police respond to a woman who fell in the Quaker Plaza parking lot when she realized her car was not in park and she attempted to enter the car and was knocked over, hitting her head on the pavement. A witness ran over and stopped the vehicle that had moved backwards.
10:37 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Quaker Avenue to a 46-year-old male from Middletown.
10:58 a.m. Police issue a summons for a vehicle and traffic violation on Jackson Avenue to a 40-year-old female from Chester.
1:32 p.m. Police investigate a report of damage to a truck parked at a residence on Route 94.
11:30 p.m. Police arrest an18-yaer-old male from Cornwall for possession of marijuana after he was found with occupants of three vehicles parked at the entrance of the Black Rock Fish and Game Club amid the smell of marijuana.
