As I approach the end of my twenty years on the Village Board, it is my sincere hope that the Village Board can continue to work together to address the day to day challenges of local government in a reasonable and realistic way. Part of the job is to not just “think in theory”, but rather be able to apply a solution in a way attainable and affordable in our small Village. This year there are two Trustee positions up for election. I believe it is important that the voters choose wisely persons that bring the needed experience, talents and vision to the table. I write this letter to give my enthusiastic support and endorsement to Dave Carnright and Jim Gagliano. Each in their own way, these two gentlemen have a lot to contribute. Dave’s common sense approach to projects from his many years in the construction trade, as well as his absolute familiarity with the Village are qualities that set him apart. Jim’s years of experience with government at all levels, and his near five decade roots here, including his college days at West Point, give him a good ability to understand the needs of our Village. Both will serve the Village well, and I hope everyone will make the time to get to the polls to cast your vote for Dave and Jim on Tuesday, March 19th.
Mark J. Edsall
