To the Editor:
I like to extend an invitation to the village residents to participate in the Cornwall-on-Hudson VILLAGE WIDE YARD SALE on Saturday, October 13, 2007. This event will be held rain or shine from 9 AM to 4 PM. It is our first, so please participate and help make it a success for sellers and buyers.
This event is being held in conjunction with our Fall cleanup week which begins on Monday, October 15. So it’s a good time to get rid of our collectibles and /or junk – one way or the other! This event will be advertised in the local newspapers and on the village websites. There is no fee, it’s free!!
If you would like to participate, please call 534-4200 and select extension 385 and leave your address. That’s all we need. A list will be compiled and on the day of the sale shoppers will stop at the village hall to pick up a map of our village and the list of locations.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at 534-9367. Otherwise, let’s get ready and enjoy the day. Thanks.
