General News: New Year's Eve Road Closures

Due to the annual Cornwall-on-Hudson “New Year’s Eve Ball Drop” the following roadways will be closed and/ or traffic detoured on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at approximately 11:15pm till Monday, January 01, 2018, at approximately 12:45am:
Hudson Street at Avenue A will be closed, eastbound traffic on Hudson Street will be detoured onto Avenue A.
Hudson Street at Maple Avenue will be closed, westbound traffic on Hudson Street will be detoured opposite Maple Avenue onto the school alleyway adjacent to Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School, through the Cornwall-on-Hudson Municipal Parking Lot and onto River Avenue.
Hudson Street at Duncan Avenue will be closed.
Hudson Street at Idlewilde Avenue will be closed, traffic heading eastbound on Idlewild Avenue will be detoured onto Churchill Street.
Hudson Street at River Avenue will be closed, traffic heading southbound on River Avenue will be detoured onto the Cornwall-on-Hudson Municipal Parking Lot, through the Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School front circular school entrance driveway and onto Hudson Street.
Both officers from the Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department and troopers from the New York State Police will be assisting with both traffic and security.
