To the Editor:
Regarding the phone books; I myself e-mailed the village clerk via their web site, to lodge a complaint re: the recent distribution of the Yellow Book ON the 4th of July.
Most families in our community did a lot to spruce up and decorate for this annual event in Cornwall/C-O-H, and to my disgust, there on the front of each walkway on my street, before 1 pm was an ugly yellow bag of book.
Many folks were out of town, or away from their homes that day and there the books laid, soaking in the rain, some for a day or two. I resented it as I would litter of any kind being thrown on my property and support efforts to stop it.
