Arrests
09/10/16 Alex M Steinklein, age 27, of Washingtonville, NY was arrested and charged with criminal mischief in ther 4th degree, endangering the welfare of a child, reckless endangerment in the 2nd degree and assault in the 3rd degree.
09/11/16 Richard L Nielson, age 27, of New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with burglary in the 2nd degree and petit larceny.
Incidents
09/05/16 Police respond to a home on Broadway to a report of a dog coming through an attic window. A Pitbull knocked a window screen loose and walked onto a porch roof.
09/05/16 Police assist Woodbury with a report of a hit and run in front of Police Headquarters.
09/06/16 Police respond to a report of a traffic light out in Rt 32. Central Hudson notified of unknown power outage.
09/06/16 Police respond to the cemetery on Mailler Ave. A woman was living in a tent on the property and advised to remove the tent and clean up the area.
09/07/16 A complainant stated that his paypal acct was compromised. The complainant let someone use his account to sell paintings then take the money out. When a client returned a painting the complainant lost the amount to paypal due to a refund. Police advise that this is a civil matter.
09/08/16 A passer by reported a car fire on the mountain, Town of Highlands jurisdiction.
09/10/16 A caller reported a burglary from her residence. No signs of forced entry. Her front door was opened and items were taken from her jewelry box.
