Arrests and announcements
04/11/16 Anfonso Mollica Jr, age 24, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree as well as aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
04/17/16 On Sunday April 17, 2016 the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department along with the US Secret Service, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, NY State Police and Town of Cornwall Police provided security and Traffic assistance for Donald Trump at NYMA. COHPD specifically provided traffic and security at the intersection of Curie Rd/Hudson Street in Cornwall-on-Hudson. COHPD Officers assigned to the listed detail report approximately thirty “Trump Protestors” protested in a civil manner in the listed location and no problems were encountered with same.
Incidents
04/11/16 A caller on Boulevard reported that 20+ roofing nails were in front of one of his landscaping vehicles on the road and felt that it was intentionally done.
04/12/16 Police issue a summons to a driver for failure to stop at a stop sign on Shore Rd.
04/12/16 Police issue a warning for an equipment violation to a driver on Hudson St.
04/12/16 Police issue a summons to a driver for a traffic violation on River Ave.
04/12/16 Police issue a summons to a driver for a traffic violation on Shore Rd.
04/12/16-04/13/16 Police issue several traffic warnings and summonses during a special traffic assignment.
04/14/16 Several subjects soliciting in the Village from a carpet cleaning company were advised to obtain an application to solicit and obtain a proper permit.
04/15/16 Police issue 4 tickets to drivers parked at the riverfront without a permit.
04/17/16 Police issue tickets to 3 vehicles parked at a blind turn near the fire trail on Mountain Rd.
