An American tradition, baseball's opening day, happens at the Little League complex on April 16. Come out at 9 am to see the parade of players from Town Hall to the fields for the opening ceremonies. Whether you have family registered to play or not, it is a fun time for both nostalgia and celebration of the future.
There are still opportunities in some divisions for players to register. If you have, or know a child who now would like to play go to www.cornwalllittleleague.com for the forms to register.
We accept every child we can, and will waive registration fees in case of financial hardship (thanks in part to a generous donation for that purpose by the Cornwall Lions Club). All children in the Cornwall School District are eligible.
Information regarding sponsorships, other ways of helping out (donations are deductible as Little League is 501(3)c approved) or other matters can be also obtained on the web site.
So come out April 16, join our next generation in welcoming the new season, singing "Take me out to the ballgame", and finally announcing it is time to "PLAY BALL".
