Arrests
02/02/106 David A Urquidi, age 28, of West Point, NY was arrested and charged with DWI and field test.
02/04/16 Daniel J Passaro, age 27, of Cornwall, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree, speeding and no-exp insurance.
02/04/2016 A 37 yr old male from Brooklyn, NY was arrested and charged with suspended registration.
Incidents
02/03/16 Police take a report of a tree blocking Hazen St. and another on Rt 94. Central Hudson responded and on scene.
02/01/16 Police and Fire Dept respond to main St. to a car fire. A driver started the car and the engine caught on fire. An employee from Smitchger assisted the driver in exiting the vehicle.
02/01/16 A caller reported hearing fire alarms going off at a neighbors house on Oak Drive. An exposed low voltage dog fence wire caught on fire under cardboard outside the residence.
02/01/16 A resident reported fraud with her taxes. She received a letter fromt he IRS that someone tried to file taxes in her and her late husband name.
02/02/16 A caller reported that someone stole his checks and cashed one at Chase Bank.
02/04/16 A box of nails spilled onto Rt 32 and Police tried to remove as much as possible while DOT was notified.
02/04/16 A caller reported that 2 bikes were stolen off of her front porch.
02/07/16 Police respond to laurel Ave. for a report of something burning in the building. CO signals were read by Fire Dept. Central Hudson notified them and residents were going to be moved to another location.
