Incidents
12/29/15 Police were called to Curie Rd Apartments for a report of a dog being beaten. The officer interviewed the subject who said that the dog had a shck collar on and had yelped before. The officer found no bruises or blood on the dog.
12/31/15 Police assist Storm King Fire Dept. with a chimney fire on Clark Ave. Pieces of a discarded Christmas wreath that were lit got caught in a chimney. Fire Dept extinguished the fire.
12/31/15 Police respond to Hudson St for a minor vehicle accident in a parking lot, no injuries.
0101/16 Police responded to Weeks Ave. for a report of a car running into a pole. The driver left her vehicle on and the parking brake may have failed causing the car to roll backwards into a pole.
01/02/16 A vehicle was stopped on Bayview Ave. for excessive window tint and Police issued a warning.
01/03/16 A caller reported to Police that he was walking his dog and noticed that the ball that is used for the New Years eve ball drop has been destroyed and is laying in pieces on the corner. Police tried to locate the owners and called both business owners who may be owners but no one answered.
01/03/16 A caller reported missing Santa. No other information at this time.
