Incidents
12/21/15 Police respond to Stillman Ave for a report of an injured turkey vulture which was then dispatched humanely.
12/24/15 Police assist Town Police with a subject sleeping in the building at the Quaker Plaza.
12/24/15 While conducting a check at the riverfront a Police officer observed a sleigh without a valid permit. It had North Pole Registration of SANTA 1. The officer spoke to a large gentleman in a red suit stating he was just stopping briefly to give his reindeer a chance to refresh before continuing on throughout the world. The officer told him to keep moving. Merry Christmas.
12/25/15 Police respond to First St. for a report of larceny, someone had removed the cover of a shipping container but all items were accounted for.
12/25/15 Police respond to Grandview Ave. for a report of a minor vehicle accident. A driver backed out of a driveway and hit a parked vehicle.
12/27/15 Police locate a suspect who had a signed complaint against him for petit larceny of a TV from the Walmart in Newburgh. The officer detained the suspect who was then picked up by Town of Newburgh Police.
