Arrests

06/19/15 A security guard at NYMA committed a burglary.
Nichols G Desisto, age 21, of Highland Mills, NY was arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree and grand larceny in the third degree. Cornwall Town Police was contacted in regards to a burglary that had occurred at a maintenance building at NYMA the prior weekend. A generator and power tools were stolen from a building. After an investigation the Town Police along with Woodbury Police executed a search warrant and found at his residence a generac generator, a push behind leaf blower, a chainsaw, two hammer drills, a backpack leaf blower, empty gas cans and a pair of bolt cutter that had “commandants office” etched on the handle. At the time of the reported burglary, Desisto was employed by a security firm that was hired to watch the property at NYMA.

06/17/15 A 34 yr old male from New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
06/18/15 Clinton J Bandora, age 25, of New Windsor, NY was arrested on a bench warrant.

Incidents
06/15/15 Police take a report of larceny. A caller stated that when she returned home from being away there were several items missing from her home including electronics, cash and jewelry.
06/16/15 Dunkin Donuts employees advised there are kids setting off fireworks next to customer’s cars.
06/17/15 Police assist Fire Dept with removal of disoriented hiker.
06/19/15 A caller reported fraud. Someone got a hold of her debit card and used it, bank advised her to file a report.
06/19/15 Police respond to a report of a suspicious person taking things out of the woods on Jacqueline Street. Police spoke with the man and advised him to leave.
06/20/15 A subject came to Police headquarters to report that her purse and its contents was taken from her vehicle in her driveway on Harold Ave.
