Arrests
04/07/15 A 32 yr old male from New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
04/10/15 Michael J Monroe, age 38, of Haverstraw, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unlicensed driver.
04/10/15 Michael R Smith, age 34, of Stormville, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and suspended registration.
04/10/15 Nicole C D Brown, age 24, of New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and suspended registration.
Incidents
04/06/15 Cornwall Fire Dept responded to Rt 32 near the DPW garage for a car fire.
04/07/15 A caller reported that he was a victim of fraud. Three separate cell phone lines were opened up in his name.
04/08/15 Police receive a report of fraud. The victim tried to file taxes and discovered that an unknown person filed federal income taxes using his identity.
04/08/15 A caller residing on Main St. reported that all 4 doors of her car were keyed overnight.
04/10/15 Police receive a report of fraud. The victim tried to file taxes and discovered that an unknown person filed federal income taxes using her identity.
04/10/15 Police receive a report of fraud. The victim tried to file taxes and discovered that an unknown person filed federal income taxes using his identity. The IRS said he would be notified within 180 days.
04/11/15 Police investigate criminal mischief at 129 Main St. At least 4 cars were keyed in the parking lot within a 4 day period.
04/12/15 Police take a report from a caller stating that her pit bull was attacked by 2 other pit bulls. No charges were filed, the owner of the 2 dogs offered to pay for any medical treatment for the pit bull that was attacked.
