General News: New Family Story Time at the Library
New Family Story time at the library
CORNWALL, NY – The Cornwall Public Library is introducing a new program, Family Story Time, on select Saturdays, starting in March for a trial period of 3 months. The first one will be on Saturday, March 17 at 9:15 am and will last about 30 minutes. It’s a family event that will include stories and songs, and is open to children of all ages. There is limited space and each child must be registered. Registration begins on March 10 via the library’s online calendar. After story time, families are welcome to stay for our drop-in Family Build-It Program at 10:00 am and build a masterpiece with Legos™.
Due to the construction in the library, we were unable to offer programs in February. “We wanted to provide another opportunity for families to enjoy story times at the library,” explains Liz Fisher, Head of Youth Services. “We have had Saturday story times in the past, and hope the public will enjoy this one as well.” This is a great opportunity to enjoy a family fun morning at the library – come for the stories, and stay for the Legos™!
