From the Cornwall Public Library Foundation
CORNWALL, NY – On Friday, September 12, 2014, golfers are invited to play one of the top 10 elite courses in New Jersey, the Crystal Springs Golf Club in Hamburg, in a day-long outing hosted by the Cornwall Public Library Foundation. The Foundation is dedicated to developing resources to improve services at the Library and this golf outing will help underwrite the installation of a noise reduction ceiling in the library building.
The cost of the Golf Outing is $175 per golfer and includes a scenic morning bus trip from the Cornwall Public Library parking lot, breakfast on the bus, 18 holes of golf with cart, buffet luncheon and awards, and a restful bus trip back to Cornwall. The bus will leave at 7:00 am SHARP and return at 6:00 pm.
Local businesses are invited to showcase their goods and services to golfers by sponsoring a Bus/Breakfast ($2,000), the Buffet/Awards ($2,000), Beverage Hour ($500), Box Lunch ($250) or teens/greens/sandtraps ($100) each. Promotional signage will be displayed throughout the outing.
The 2nd Annual Library Foundation Golf Outing follows a very successful inaugural outing last year that brought dozens of players to the Crystal Springs course, named by Jersey Golfer as best public golf course in the state. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
