Repaving of the PIP Underway!
After nearly 20 years, the Palisades Parkway in New Jersey is getting repaved. Paving begins this week and should be completed before winter.
While the work progresses...
- Please use caution! Allow extra travel time - consider alternative routes.
- Most northbound work is scheduled to occur overnight on weekdays.
- Most southbound work is scheduled to occur overnight on weekends.
- Most work on exits is scheduled to occur during weekdays.
Expect lane closures during these times.
The Parkway Police webpage and Twitter feed will have the most up-to-date information about lane closures and current conditions on the Parkway during the construction. (Travelers can also check for updates at 511nj.org.)
