Obituaries: Carolina A. Connolly
Carolina A. Connolly, 98, passed away on March 21, 2014. She was residing at Country Meadows Retirement Community, Hershey, PA, with her sister, Gertrude Brown.
A longtime resident of Cornwall, NY, Carolina was born October 7, 1915, in Newburgh; the daughter of Charles H. and Helen Turner Ferguson. She attended Newburgh City Schools and Newburgh Free Academy, and in 1940 married Vincent J Connolly of Cornwall, NY, an editorial staff writer for The Newburgh Evening News.
Mrs. Connolly is survived by her daughter, Carole (Richard) Odgers of Cudjoe Key, FL; her son, Michael (Mary Ann) Connolly of Englewood, FL; granddaughter, Erin (Mark) Rapp of Hershey, PA; grandson, Sean Connolly of Englewood, FL; and great granddaughters, Reganne and Alexandra Rapp of Hershey, PA.
There will be a graveside remembrance service at 11 a.m. Saturday June 21 at Woodlawn Cemetery Rt 94 and Union Ave. New Windsor, NY.
