A NEW FUNDRAISER FOR THE CANINE SANCTUARY.
"Photography as Fine Art" is on display at the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, 94 Broadway, in Newburgh across from the City Hall. It is featuring the work of two photographers, Tom Doyle and Mel Kleiman. Museum hours are 10a.m. - 4p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and noon-4p.m. Sundays.
The photo show titled Alone is one of the prints that will be raffled off for charity. Winners will be given a print of their choice. Mel Kleiman will provide two prints and Tom Doyle will provide another two. Raffle tickets are $1 each and will be available at Puppy Paws on Main St. and at the Karpeles at the reception 1 to 4 pm on Saturday June 28th.
The public is invited to meet the artists at a reception at the museum, 1-4 p.m. June 28. Call 569-4997 or visit karpeles.com. Admission is free. At the close of the show, the artists will raffle off original Giclee prints of their work with proceeds going to the Canine Sanctuary. We are so grateful that these two photographers are helping our cause so please, friends and supporters see their work on display and be there on July 31st for the auction.
