General News: Memorial Day Parade 2014

It was a beautiful day for a parade. It was led by soldiers carrying the American flag; a perfect tribute to our great country.
New York Military Academy followed shortly behind them, along with Cornwall Girl Scouts Service Unit 219 and Daisy Troop 22. Members of the Cornwall Boy Scouts marched along to an excellent band behind them playing Americana tunes. The parade ended with members of the Fire Engine Company walking with their Fire Trucks and Ambulances in tow.
Although the parade only lasted a few short minutes, many people attended to honor the brave men and women that have lost their lives serving our country, as well as those who continue to serve. Happy Memorial Day!
