General News: Library Budget Approved, New Trustees Elected

Voters approved the 2014/2015 Library Operating Budget of $1,164,267.41 (up from last year's budget of $1,112,061.73) for the Cornwall Public Library on Tuesday by a tally of 363 to 100.
A total of 463 people voted in the election, a decrease of only 1 vote from last year and a decrease from 2012 total of 509 votes.
Both Carol Stein (231 votes) and Christine McDonald (260 votes) were elected to five year terms as Library Trustees beginning 7/1/14.
