General News: Honor Society Holds Car Wash

On Saturday, August 24th, the Cornwall Central High School Honor Society held a car wash in the Village of Cornwall on Hudson's Village Hall parking lot that is located on Hudson Street.
Business was very brisk as many of the passing motorists responded to student hawkers waving car wash signs as they drove by.
According to National Honor Society Advisors Jackie Spenar and Lisa Delbene, who were overseeing student activities, the event had been organized by National Honor Society member Lauren Berkery, and proceeds would be used to sponsor a needy family from Astor Head Start during the holidays with both a food basket and various other assistance relative needs and wants.
