General News: Annual Roast Beef Dinner at CPC
CORNWALL-ON-HUDSON – So where’s the beef? Well, from 4:30-7 p.m. Saturday, April 25, you can find the beef at the 33rd Annual Roast Beef Dinner at the Cornwall Presbyterian Church.
While most patrons come, of course, to savor roast beef, all of them come to enjoy the hospitality and fellowship that comes along with their plates, at no extra charge.
Many come for the homemade desserts – pies, including the ever popular lemon meringue; cakes; cookies; brownies; puddings; and more. The desserts come out in vast array on a dessert cart, tantalizing the tongue. CPC members, young and old, are the cooks and wait staff - friends and neighbors of their guests.
The church is located at 222 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson; the building is disabled accessible. Tickets are $13; seniors are $10. Children five through 10 are $6; four and under
are free. Take-outs are available. For tickets and further information, call CPC at 534-2903.
So come out to join your neighbors – to share a meal and some conversation in fellowship hall.
