The progress of renovation on Cornwall State Route 32 Bridge over the Moodna Creek located between Quaker Avenue and Orrs Mills Road, is not only obvious, and quite noticeable, but noteworthy in regard to the following:
1. Construction has caused only minor traffic backup and congestion, and only during peak use rush hour periods
2. Kiyras Joel's controversial pipeline is to be attached to the western underside of the renovated structure in its 13 mile plus trek into the Town of New Windsor to hook into the existing tap of the NYC Catskill Aqueduct, at the New Windsor Water Treatment Plant located on Riley Road.
The eastern side of the State Route 32 Bridge carries a Central Hudson natural gas transmission line which is affixed to the underside.
The west side of the Route 32 bridge is the first phase of the bridge renovation project, with the eastern side to follow once westside renovation is completed.
