The CCMS 7/8 Grade vocal All County Auditionees and 7/8 Grade Vocal NYSSMA Solo and Ensemble Student Group recently performed at the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church for their annual Chrismons Service on December 9th.
On December 14th they performed at Munger Cottage for and with the Senior Citizens. This has become an annual event for the past 8 years. The students perform a few songs and then introduce themselves to individuals and then they sang together.
Jessica Eng was a featured soloist in the song "Can You Hear". In the past they have done this the day before Thanksgiving break and sang patriotic songs. This year, the school had a half day before that break so the schedule had to be readjusted and they did Holiday Carols together. Students and Seniors enjoyed the experience.
Later that evening at 6pm, the same group of students sang at Barnes and Noble to help celebrate and support the school PTO Book Fair. Sahana Rao was featured in this performance.
