General News: Audio of Fire Dispatch at Sunday's Fire
In an audio file posted to YouTube, listeners can hear the initial response to the fire at 2 Mill Street after it was first reported around 10:45 am. Cornwall fire chief Patrick Hines can be heard on the radio with the dispatcher, asking for additional ladder trucks, other equipment and firefighters from neighboring fire companies as the magnitude of the blaze became clear. You can also hear as the firefighters try to hook up to non-working fire hydrants on site, then move outside the complex for water.
