Upon John's retirement from the USAF, they returned to Cornwall, where Helen lived the remainder of her life. Helen loved ceramics, painting "Hum-Hels," singing, bingo, and going to Atlantic City with her sister, Anne.
She is predeceased by her husband, John; son, John Patrick Donahue, and sister, Madeline. She is survived by her loving children, son, Kevin Donahue and his wife, Kathleen, of Cornwall, and daughter, Eileen and her husband Tim, of Salisbury Mills; daughter-in-law, Kathy Ryan Donahue, of Perrysburg, OH. She had six grandchildren: Alison Kehner and her husband, George of Haddonfield NJ, Michael Donahue and his wife, Alison of Westwood, MA, Laura Hamel and her husband, Sean of Philadelphia, PA, Meghan and Emily Zwart of Cornwall, NY and Sarah Ryan Donahue of Perrysburg OH, and six great-grandchildren: Samantha, Katie and Madeline Kehner, Nolan and Maeve Hamel and William Donahue.
