General News: A Commitment to Walking at COH Elementary
Families and students turned out for the first Walk-a-Thon.

On Friday September 23 Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School community members joined together for the first COHES Walk-A-Thon dubbed Footsteps to the Future.
Even Mother Nature's non-stop rain didn't dampen the spirit of the 175 members of the COHES family who enjoyed meeting new families, walking with friends and eating some of Village Pizza's tasty pizzas.
Upon arrival, families wrote a family goal for the next year, like to eat healthier or play more soccer. The participants estimated the number of steps they'd walk in 30 minutes and received pedometers to record their progress. The music was playing, families were walking and the wonderful volunteers were giving participants high fives left and right. What a fun way to ring in the new school year!
