General News: Local State of Emergency LIFTED

State of Emergency is lifted for town and village; town hall offices remain closed until Wednesday at 8:30 am.

The village of Cornwall-on-Hudson has declared a local state of emergency effective on Monday, January 26th at 4 pm due to the severe blizzard January 26-28, 2015.
The emergency will be in effect until a subsequent order is issued.
*The order asks residents to refrain from traveling within the village during the emergency.
*Parking on all streets is prohibited.
State of Emergency in effect in Town of Cornwall 11 pm Monday until 6 am Wednesday. Due to blizzard conditions town hall will be closed Tuesday, January 27 and will reopen, weather permitting, Wednesday, January 28 at noon. In case of an emergency call the Police Department at 534-8100. The Ambulance Corps building will be available for a warming station. Please continue to view website for updates.
