General News: Parking Rules on the 4th of July

NOTE: There will be no parking in the rear of Cornwall Town Hall.

Fourth of July Parking Regulations - Quaker Avenue From Elm to Circle – Both sides of street - No parking 3:00-6:30pm
Main Street from Circle to Hudson – Both Sides of Street - No parking 3:00- 6:30pm
Main Street from Hudson to Academy – Both Sides - No Parking ALL Day
Broadway- Both Sides No Parking all day
Main from Willow to South - Both Sides No Parking 3:00- 11:00pm
Hudson Street from Main to First - Both Sides - No Parking All Day
North, Center, and South Both Sides - No Parking All Day
McCann, Tamarra and Hazen West Side- No Parking All Day
Union Street from Main to Clinton- West side No Parking- All Day
Clinton, Broadway, and Grand St. South Side- No Parking
Hasbrouck from Circle To Clinton- Both Sides No Parking All Day
Road Race & Parade Street Closures
Quaker Avenue – from Elm Street to the traffic circle, both sides – from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
Main Street – from the traffic circle to Hudson Street, both sides – from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
Handicapped Parking Passes
Anyone needing a handicapped parking pass may pick one up at the Cornwall Police Department Communications Center (534-8100). The number of passes is limited and they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until they are gone. No handicapped passes will be distributed July 4.

Village:
Please be advised that on Wednesday, July 04, 2018, from 4pm till 7pm, there will be “No Parking” on both sides of Hudson Street from First Street east to Lafayette Street due to the annual Cornwall/ Cornwall-on-Hudson “4th of July Parade”.
Also Note: On Wednesday, July 04, 2018, immediately following the “4th of July Parade”, Hudson Street at First Street will be closed for westbound traffic on Hudson Street, traffic will be diverted onto First Street until the completion of the “4th of July” Fireworks Display which should occur sometime between 10:00pm and 11:00pm. Due to the anticipated heavy vehicular and pedestrian traffic volume following the completion of the “4th of July” Fireworks Display, Cornwall-on-Hudson Police Department will have officers at the following intersections within the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson to assist with traffic: Hudson Street and Second Street, Hudson Street and Rt#218 (Academy Ave) and Hudson Street and River Avenue (Village Square).
