COVAC members extricated the driver of one of the vehicles.
A two-car accident Tuesday evening on Route 94 in Salisbury Mills sent four people to the hospital.
Captain Jack Boyle of the Cornwall Volunteer Ambulance Corps said that members of his corps along with the Salisbury Mills Fire Department had to extricate the driver of one of the vehicles. Boyle said the driver, an unidentified male, had twin children in the vehicle with him who both had to be taken to the hospital along with the driver of the second car, a 17-year-old female.
Boyle reports that Route 94 near Clove Road was closed for nearly an hour as rescue efforts were carried out. The cause of the crash is not known.
