General News: Farmers Market Coming to Cornwall
|

People in Cornwall will be able to shop at a weekly farmers market starting on Wednesday, July 7, in a deal worked out between the town of Cornwall and the Cornwall Community Cooperative.
The farmers market will be held every Wednesday on the grounds of Cornwall town hall from 9 am to 3:30 pm until at least September 1st.
The market will feature fresh produce from regional farmers, including the Dagele Brothers, Locust Tree Farms, Panzarella Farms and Kiernan Farms. Along with cheese, butter, eggs, fruit juices, pasta and bread, the market will offer a wide variety of freshly harvested vegetables and fruits.
The market has been certified to take part in the Women, Infant and Children Program (WIC) and will accept payment from participants in the program that is designed to provide supplemental food for pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, as well as for infant and children.
